A woman I met through etsy is having an auction fundraiser on behalf of Tara’s House Animal Rescue, an animal rescue organization in the Washington DC/Baltimore area. She asked if I might be able to donate an item to the auction …

I immediately thought of Elvis. Elvis is an extremely handsome young pit bull who was rescued from the Memphis streets after having been shot in the jaw. Hearts of Gold Pit Bull Rescue, a wonderful foster mom, and many financial donors brought him back to health. I thought he would be a fitting ambassador for this fundraiser.

So using his picture I made a pillow and it will be auctioned tonight! Even if you don’t live in the D.C. or Memphis area, stop by and take a look at the auction items and maybe give another pup a chance at a better life.
