At a recent visit to the eye doctor, my retina was photographed and I was taken with the wonderful colors. So I created fabric collages based on that photograph and one of my iris. I layered appropriately colored fabrics and then added some thread sketching.
The eye, like the heart, seems to hold a place of mystery for us … just a bundle of cells, yet laden with emotion and communication …
